I've got a collection of old Nerf guns, all intact, still have all the attachments and accessories save for a few mags, and a bunch of totally unorganized darts. All but one are 100% Nerf brand, no knock-offs except for one star wars dart blaster. They're all old, dirty, dusty and overall unmaintained, and to be honest I wouldn't want to take them apart and wash them all even if I had the time to, the guides I found insist I do it part by part and use special cleaners and shit I don't want to buy. I know some people like to do restorations, and most of these probably aren't sold anymore, so should I bother putting them on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace or something, or just take them all to the dump?

why do people always ask "how do I get rid of my old collection" like dude buy a moving box at walmart, fill it up, and drop it at goodwill

>>10723880 I thought you had to wash all that shit before you took it to Goodwill.

I dont collect nerf so i dont know what the prices would be on the aftermarket, but if you dont care about cash(who am i kidding) give it to good will like others suggest. Or maybe a local community centre.

>>10723857 Goodwill or some other thrift store will take them. Alternately, find a local Nerf group and dump them at an event.
>>10723890 Unless the dirt ls literally caked on them, I wouldn't bother with cleaning. Anybody who buys a blaster from a thrift store will clean it before use.

There was stuff he was just trashing because shipping was outrageous. Also, all Nerf brand darts are worthless. So local sale or thrift shop.

How does everyone store their loose darts? I just picked up one of these tool boxes from Dollar Tree. Fits standard and Mega darts. Holds a surprising amount. I also like that you can latch the lid and lock it if you want. I might have to replace my shoeboxes with more of these.

>>10732296 It's the only way to keep those things closed, they're flimsy as shit and the latch is worthless.
Holding Nerf darts is about the right use for them.
He might want to buy a pack of zip ties or twine instead of a lock.
