More or less. The Wolfpack always had a more sinister feel than the Forestmen, but without the open antagonism or ambition of the Bull Knights. They seem like selfish opportunists who'd nab what loot they could get, then spirit it away to their hideout before anyone caught them.

While it is accepted by most that the era of Classic Space ended with the appearance of the now infamous Blacktron faction, and the subsequent delineation between Futuron and Blacktron as the follow-up to the more homogenous original explorers of Classic Space little is known about the short transitional period that changed and morphed different branches of that original faction into the two that would later dominate the galactic space.
The images presented here give us a rare glimpse of the offshoot faction that would eventually become Blacktron 1.
Note the repurposed Supply Station that has been modified to serve more advanced signal gathering purposes (a defining characteristic of Blacktron) but also the updated helmets the astronauts are using. Another interesting change is the new color scheme reflecting a fundamental change in identity for those part of this group.
While the Blacktron logo has not yet appeared anywhere, sufficient changes to the basic CS design and aesthetics suggest this to be a rare proto-Blacktron stage, one of which to date very little information (especially visual) has been found.

The Sonic sets are only a few months old. The prices for the minifigs haven't had a chance to settle just yet. Not to mention the ones being sold right now are likely those in the hands of scalpers that are deliberately driving up the value of them. I'd recommend waiting at least a couple more months, when more Sonic sets are released and sold, more minis are put into circulation, and the holiday rush ends. That should hopefully bring the prices down.

black friday hasn't really begun yet, still don't know what sets wal mart is going to have on sale over the coming weeks, their first wave sucked and was all technic shit.
target has some decent deals but nothing spectacular. Amazon had some great deals last year but they haven't really had anything yet just price-matching target.

Lego had a better sale last month honestly, and their black friday sale this year seems disappointing but if they do a double insiders points I might pick up a few sets.

Color blind anon here. Building another MILS plate. So what color bricks would go best with this dark tan base plate? I have enough of the blue to complete it but if the light blue is better I would have to purchase a few more. I may not even be able to use this baseplate since I recently noticed the Lego logos go in opposite directions on each side. That would really mess up the placement off all the rest of the bricks. Animal Crossing is played by adult women, who have very little to no interest in Lego.
Animal Crossing doesn't have much you can do in terms of sets beyond 2-3 waves.
Minecraft has also been consistently popular since the beta, while Animal Crossing comes and goes in waves.

It's a mystery; but only because it's a comedy of executive errors. I think they'll release the second year's stuff and if it doesn't suddenly spark more interest they'll fizzle out the third year.

This will probably kneecap production of more original themes for a few years since 5 years of market research and design created something that appealed to absolutely no one. Remember this is "the most researched theme in Lego history".
Once it wraps up we're going to see one of three things happen: an attempt to market Monkie Kid in the west, doubling down on licences or revival of an older proven theme such as Castle. Given the timeline for development, it's obvious that part of the reason they did nothing to push Monkie Kid in the west is because they were Banking on Dreamzzz filling that role in the West and it has utterly failed to do so.

This is my fear. Pretty sure Lego will double down on licensed themes and keep old original ones like Castle and Pirates limited to expensive and adult sets like El Dorado Fortress.

Just look at the BL store that you would be ordering your other parts from. You usually need about 81 2x2’s for a MILS plate. So filter 2x2 bricks and sort by price. Usually the damaged and faded ones will be separate and marked down.

Another problem I think is the new limb pieces. They are so bland yet also off. The theme could have done without them and save a lot of time and cost.
Though most of all, Dreamzzz is already to "experimental" with everything it has going, they didn't need to add a new weird thing on top of all the new weird things they came up with. (the new wing/flame/tail piece is cool tho)

Hydronauts - A group of supposedly good guys fighting the Stingrays, but their real goal is securing resources in the oceans. Are they really "good guys" however? Much like the other factions they are exploiting the sea crystals disrupting the sea life while fighting off the Stingrays, but is there more to this story? Why are the mutant Stingrays so tirelessly fighting the Hydronauts? Perhaps there is some history between these factions, the Hydronauts hardly have the expression of friendly undersea explorers... They are evil for this reason.

Aquanauts and Aquasharks - Supposedly a "good guy" faction, they really don't seem to be doing much good. They disrupt the sea bed with their large base and disturb the ecosystem by mining for crystals in the ocean, god knows the kind of pollution created by their machines for excavating and digging out crystals. They're not much better than their foes the Aqua Sharks who seem to have a similar goal to exploit the oceans, perhaps Aquanauts had a more noble goal with their resource extraction while the Aquasharks pursued something more sinister, without knowledge of what the crystals were used for however this is hard to discern motivations, so Aquanauts are lawful neutral, Aquazone neutral evil.

Aquaraiders - Just a group of explorers once again extracting crystals, disrupting the ecosystem but do not appear to be in combat with any other faction. True neutral.

Atlantis expedition - They are explorers, but are they really good guys?. Yes, the desire for knowledge about the ancient past is a pursuit that could be deemed "good" but clearly the guardians of Atlantis are protecting the power held there for a reason, perhaps mankind is not capable or ready to utilize it and its exploitation would only lead to negative impacts on humanity. One could argue that the Atlantic guardians are simply protecting their homeland from a group of invaders who only come to exploit their resources. The Atlantis expedition appears to be armed in preparation for assaulting Atlantis, they didn't just come with exploration in mind. They fight off various sea creatures and Atlantis guardians to get to the city. Perhaps if they truly seek knowledge alone to better humanity they would come and attempt diplomacy or some other form of communication with the guardians. Likewise, the Guardians can just be seen as defending themselves.

Finally, the Stingrays. The only faction that is overtly "evil" I mean look at their eyes and suits, they just scream "I'm a bad guy." They appear to be mutants of some kind, not truly human. Perhaps they are the result of a scientific experiment by another Aquazone faction that went bad? Some mad scientist mutating humans attempting to turn them into an aquatic species, but the experiments never worked so the exploited turned into monsters that only seek revenge on all humans for the their torturous pasts? We will never know. The one thing we do know, they also exploit the crystals much like other factions, only the sea life appears to be harmonious with the Stingrays, working with them against the Hydronauts. Perhaps the Hydronauts are their creators? They certainly look evil with their masks and expressions.

It's hard to align these factions honestly as most of them are not really "good" they all are in the oceans to exploit something except maybe the divers, but even they are armed with spears.

The main larger sets I had were black seas barracuda, rapid River village, blacksmith shop from 2002. Those 3 were my childhood favorites and already got again. I also always wanted fort legorado as a kid to go with the rapid River village but never got it. Plan on getting fort legorado and the other western sets next. But they’re all pretty expensive. I also want to pick up a lot of the first two waves of Harry Potter and some of the early Star Wars sets. Also some of the adventurers. Had a bunch of those 3 themes the smaller sets.

Nice. I had most of the Western sets except for Fort Legoredo, Boulder Canyon, and Bandit's Hideout. It would have been cool to pair the tepees with the fort for a Fort Bridger or Fort Laramie sort of peace camp deal. Then there were all of the Egyptian Adventurers sets except for the largest set, Pharaoh's Forbidden Ruins. I also had the zeppelin and some of the other Adventurers stuff except for Orient Expedition, when I aged out of Lego mixed with the expense of it. Then there were a few of the smaller Star Wars sets for little show-pieces on my bookshelf. But Western was my bread and butter.
