Wow, some weirdos think me buying omnibus and graphic novels means I'm casual. Okay. Me having an Arcade1up is more of a point at being casual, but fuck I have fun with the three I own (bought 2 and 1 was a gift) and don't plan on any more. I put in roughly an 2 hours a week on em, so I say I get fun value out of it. My local comic shop had several arcade cabinets in it, so it helps to immerse me. But owning graphic novels is just all the comics bound nicely and I don't have to dig through long and short boxes.
>>10728751>How often do you reread them? Do Americans even read anymore your illiteracy levels have dropped all over the place.Every so often. I usually reread my Hellboy books every October, but the past two years have reread my Marvel horror books that month instead. My most reread series is Godzilla Rulers of Earth. The art is wild and story is fun, it's a breeze to read and always exciting. I also keep going back to the Dark Horse Conan books, especially the issues illustrated by Nord. I was reading the Marvel issues as they released their omnis, but the pace of rekease was so rapid fire I wasn't able to keep up, but kept buying because I knew they wpuld lose the license.
I reread my Deadpool by Kelly omni a couple times, but open it VERY often to just read one or two issues. I haven't reread any of my X-Men since the initial reading, but I've reread my Wolverine vol 1 omni twice now. I just this last summer reread Amazing Spider-Man omnibus vol 1 and 2, but dropped off towards the end of vol 2 so I could start some new material when an Italian Western comic Tex and the adventure comic Zagor came out with new volumes. I'm still reading those now.
