Probably because the guys who work on them are big brave fans themselves. The guys who work on the designs for GSCs THE GATTAI line, Godbrave Studio, mostly do work with these Korean lines.

I like those Korean sentai-imitator design more than any recent TV toku honestly. Both Sentai and Kamen Rider look ridiculous now.

The Sentai/PR stuff I grew up with also used chest crests a lot.
I only casually know these Korean series but a lot of them seem to be Super Sentai based. I'm sure there's Brave in their DNA too, since Auldey used to import Brave as well. That said with Brave I usually think more like an animal theme mixed into vehicles(I know they're not all like that, but still)

Agree with pic related as the only exception, Don Onitaijin is the best sentai robo toy since forever.

Not a fan, sorry. It's before my time, but I always thought 80's Sentai had some of the best aesthetics. I tune out around the 2000's though. The visual noise is just too much for me.

these all look nice, but they don't really pose nice. A lot of them at most lack swivel fore/arms and even cut-joint wrists. Doesn't help that the good ones are humanoid, which i feel already saturated by our access to Transformers. Also they expensive

I posted this pic in the last Tobot thread. The gold on the hubcaps, the dark gray ion the legs, all the gold lines on the sides of the car and door handles, gold on the small lamps on top of the front wheels and the side-view mirrors, red on the elbow joints... That's what I'm seeing right now, but maybe there's more.
