Are game controllers fidget toys?

I recently got a Xbox One controller (PC) and the texture on the thumb sticks and underside and on the triggers is unreal.

Also the top of the thumb sticks while borderline retarded for playing games is this unreal texture of a perfectly smooth hole.

And the outside texture of the sticks.
It like wants you to play games with this controller or simply to fidget with it.
