Why they never made an actual good looking Security Breach freddy (and other animatronics) figure? Tall - not those G1 like chubby ones with awful conections.

They kept making those shitty fragile small figures and never made cool big ones...why?

It's partly because most of the characters are not particularly toy design friendly and partly because they exclusively care about selling merchandise to children who don't care. Any time there's a discussion about this online it's pretty clear that no one there actually understands what makes figures good or what makes the series' current offerings so bad, so while it's a shame we'll probably never get anything worth paying for it's never going to change. Also Scott doesn't give a fuck about this either.

sad... I never actually played any of the games except the first one and I didnt finish it. But I was following the story lore and stuff for years. the fan content and lore is much better than official stuff.

im getting this springtrap. I see that fnaf had 3 springtrap figures and despite this having weird colors many people admit that it's the best one sculpt/quality wise?

Springtrap was such a nice villain design
Also i liked the Security Breach idea but never played that game - you just watch "video essays" and lore explanation and you don't have to play those.

it's insane to me how off model the Security Breach figures are. They put more unique molding into these weird holiday variants than they did those, even though those were clearly separate designs from the ground up.

The Funko figures are good especially for the price. It's just that they fucked up and cheaper out on the sb wave. Vanny was ok though. If they decide to continue the 12 inch line maybe we'll see better sb sculpts and proportions.

I think they will be like that forever as franchise lasts.

1) FNAF is aimed at kids
2) it's easier for kids to get a simplistic smaller figure they can afford - it can't be more expensive than 10-15 dollars

BUT hear me out - i think in the future as FNAF will become nostalgic and its audience will be around 25-35, companies will start making more adult-oriented figures like they doing now with 80-90s franchises for grown up millenials.

Aaaand also currently sold FNAF figures will become insanely expensive
(they are already and they will only go higher in price over years)

I think it might take 10 years for us to get high quality FNAF stuff.
It's when current fanboys will be at the end of their universities or become dads/moms with money.

Todd McFarlane would be perfect. The animatronics are meant to be huge compared to their size of actual animatronics found in theme parks so McFarlane could easily make a seven inch scale action figure series and get the distribution easily figured out worldwide.

Some plushes cost more than 400 dollars which is insane and it's during current year

We're already in the nostalgia era for FNAF 1-6. People in highschool when FNAF 1 released would be getting out of college or been out of college by now. Some figures are already being scalped to the mid hundreds but its more due to scarcity rather than demand.

I'd like it but I've always heard some opposition to FNAF figures made by mcfarlane or neca or model kits or who ever because the assumption is that they will be significantly more expensive than Funko is now. Especially expensive for characters that organize into what are essentially 4 member bands so if you want all the FNAF 1 animatronics it comes out to being +$100 or +$200 for all FNAF 2 animatronics rather than the ~$50 for Funko fnaf 1 it is now.
