I've had more problems with shipping I paid for than shipping that was free, which is actually bizarre given I usually just get free shipping. It doesn't really make any difference to the carriers whether you paid or a corporation gave you the shipping for free. If they fuck up, they fucked up.

Amazon and some other companies do what you said. So with Amazon, most of the time nothing is packaged until the final step at the regional shipping center. Other shipping companies just swap the label or stick a new one on top of the old one.

it's how most cheap shipping is handled. it'll be bounced around the shipping company's distribution channels before getting passed off to your local post office for final delivery. i do it with international shipments. everything goes to a warehouse in chicago i think and then gets shipped in bulk overseas rather than individually shipping each order for double the price. i forget who bbts uses, pittney bowes maybe.

"Another shipping company" like Fedex? Because I just got an order from BBTS that came through Fedex, the tracking was created almost as soon as I ordered it. Is it weird to you that someone ships through Fedex?

And no, a third party like Pitney Bowes would hand off the package to USPS for final delivery. I've had places who use Pitney Bowes and you can tell on the tracking data. There may be some cases where BBTS uses them but I've never seen it

I constantly order from BBTS, and they always use fedex regardless if i use their $4 shipping, normal shipping, or lump everything together with their loot system and cheap $4 shipping.

Like the other guy said, it's all done through Fed Ex and my boxes always come with a single shipping label.

Only difference i've noticed between their $4 and normal shipping is maybe a day difference. So i stick with their cheap shipping.

Perhaps, but black series has better waifus than dcmv. Both have their faults and aren't really competing. Personally I like the paint apps on the black series more, especially on gritty chipped armor. Boba and Leia both have really nice ink washes that help define the sculpts more.
Todd's stuff would look 10/10 if the lazy paint didn't ruin his cooler sculpts like Freeze, Luthor, Zod, and the new Wonder Woman. I will agree black series makes better display figures.

To be fair, it's based on the more realistic looking comics than the really old cartoony one. The "classic" figure is just repainted because Todd wants easy money and still lives in an era where chase variants are cool, even though everybody hates them for being inaccurate and lazy

This is what happens when you have sculptors that sculpt statues and separate sculptors that cut in the articulation. You get stuff that has all the joints and looks fine in a standing position, but is engineered horribly. McFarlane has always functioned like that. It's one of the biggest detractors from the company's figures IMO
