I was a 41 year old single guy, no gf and no friends and a huge amount of toys. I was so unhappy, so I just dumped them all at Goodwill. It would have taken me years to sell them off through ebay, so I just did the clean cut. The only thing I regret is not keeping 3 toys, and if you follow my example I would suggest keeping 3 instead of dumping all of them like me. It hurt for a while that I did not keep 2 or 3 I really loved.
That said, dumping my toys at GW was the best desicion of my life, it force me to be social and start dating, and I found someone and got married at 44. I had 2 kids with her, she was in her late 30s so if I had waited there was no way I would have had kids. I feel like a real person now, having so many toys and nothing else in my life made me feel so horrible about myself. I strongly suggest making a change right now if you feel similar, the longer you wait the worse it will be.
