How do I get a whole bunch of these for as close to the actual cost of producing them as possible?
My gf is obsessed with them and I want to get her a bunch with her Christmas presents but they're ridiculously priced for what they are. I'm in the US and they're like 12 dollars for one tiny plastic figurine. I know they're cranking these out in a factory in Japan for like at most .50 cents each, and their small size and weight means they can ship a whole bunch of them overseas cheaper.
In Japan they're 800 yen or 5 USD. I want to buy a couple dozen or so for close to that price, but the best deal I can find in the US is like 12 for 110 dollars.
I've thought about using a proxy service and having them shipped from Japan but they're usually only sold in stores not online.
If anything I'll just suck it up and buy a dozen for 100 but just wanna check first if anyone has a better method.
