There was almost no vinyl left from the show outside of smaller pieces from uamou and cord viper, neither of which are glyosy the way some RXH stuff is.

There'd also be no point even if there was a small amount left over. What do you think they're going to do? Put up 5 or 10 or whatever pieces on the onell site? Why? So you can piss off the hundreds of people logging in all trying to have a chance at getting a RxH piece? That pleases the 5 people who nab it and then infuriates everybody else. This is a big reason why custom corps went away, the fandom has gotten too big and there's not enough time to make enough custom pieces in large enough numbers to sell without causing large amounts of angry frustration.

Tldr next time just go to the fucking show.

Yeah there was pretty much nothing left. Cordviper had maybe 5-6 of his smaller figs. Umaou was the only one with stuff left which ranged from bigger figs to little ones. The thing is she always had a crowd around her table and no limit on purchases. It could also be she kept restocking her table as it sold down, you had to get in and make purchases and get out. They only let you back in after people made their 2nd round and everything was gone. Plus it was time for Pizzaguy to play a concert in the middle of the printing area of the shop.

I remember seeing people talking about it some time after Power Con but no one knew exactly what was happening. Then Jessie and Marc posted about it almost 3 weeks ahead of time. It’s just Matt was last minute to post about it.

I got to Game Of Hope late because despite being only an hour’s drive away from my house, geniuses scheduled it near Halloween and Moore’s place just so happens to be near Salem Massachusetts. So a 1 hour drive became a 4 hour drive due to tourist traffic. Luckily got all the items I wanted though, some of which (sofubis) were down to the very last one the seller had when I got there. So I caught a huge lucky break there. Spent the rest of the day catching up with old friends, and learning from them about just how much of a madhouse it was earlier, with the line of people wrapping around the building and going down the street. Saw Moore’s toy collection. Quite a sight to behold. He should open a toy museum. The drive back home was quicker now that most of the traffic was gone. Overall it was a fun time but next time they really need to schedule it away from a holiday. Otherwise I would have been there sooner.

First game of hope rumblings were more than 3 months prior to the show, with several full announcements coming about a month prior to the actual show.

As it was I decided 6 days before the show to go and found a round trip plane ticket for $90 and took a free train from the airport there and back.

Anyone who likes this stuff should know by now that Matt does not use the blog extensively anymore, and to follow the other artists should you want to stay up to date on things related to them.

You DO know you can panel line stuff yourself, right? There's a reason lines became too expensive, it's just a pain in the ass to do and it's charged per paint app. If you want them bad enough, sit there and do the work. Panel lining fluid or pour type markers would probably speed things up, as long as you make sure they don't react with the existing paint or PVC.

I didnt buy any Mechrostorm-almost tempted to get argen because seeing a toy already in a build is neat as hell to me. Skipped the glow gauss-but got like three pheydens, two phanosts, the GOH pheyaos, regular pheyaos, sarvos(says it comes with a secret build scar pheyden head which is really piquing my interest) a bunch of axis in black and glow and three phanost core clone because I love the look of a basic traveler with a striking head color which was basically all the stuff this release. love the clean logo on the shoulder too its great.

The Glyos discord IS the comfy middle ground. Everyone there gets along. Drop news gets posted there the minute it debuts. People post builds, make art, discuss toys/games/movies/life/etc.

The official Onell forums are a ghost town. There’s nothing wrong with the place, it’s just that people stopped using it.

Destasio’s Discord is the overly sanitized one. And now other members are getting aggravated and calling him out on deleting comments and conversations. Not a good source for upcoming drop news. People post builds, make LOTS of music and art, discuss toys/games/movies/life/etc. They also post a lot of things to promote and sales/deals on toys.

This place is full of people from the Glyos and ToyPizza Discords, some of which here clearly enjoy anonymously larping as assholes to anyone at any opportunity they get.
