As long as Chris Chan has all the room for cost knowing he's gonna sell his Chinese-made knock-offs for around $50 each, he's not gonna get it. He needs to think like a company needing to get costs as low as possible in order to sell at $1.98 like Kenner did.
BUT as long as he has his pet cheerleader Michael French promoting them, then he will keep selling them with no reason to try harder to produce something that has a true vintage feel to it.
