There will probably always be a drop-off compared to the fwoosh channel but I'm sure he'll get enough interested people checking him out that he'll be able to get a paycheck from the channel, even if it won't reach the level of some of the other big reviewers
the fwoosh itself I think isn't gonna do too well though, Robo is pretty much the company, as far as I know. None of the other employees seem to be very active outside of the main website and written reviews and I heard the forums were ruined and had a mass exodus recently
The toy division might be what they're banking on but like you said it's gonna be rough for them
I think he'll still get invited to cons, though, aren't there a few small-time reviewers that still get those kinds of invites? Along with free samples? Even if he's not attached to the fwoosh anymore, people will probably still want to stay connected to the guy because of the relationship he built over the years or as a just-in-case he becomes a big channel on his own
