>>10791002I have pretty much all the monsters from this line, including the Dragon. He's easily the worst, but still an impressive display piece with the giant wings.
But overall, the rest of the line is just fantastic, though not perfect. I have the white Owlbear and she's so fantastic I feel I wanna hunt down the brown one. The Displacer Beast is awesome and it's tentacles are downright terrifying, though he can be tricky to pose with the extra legs. I wish he had more outward range on his shoulders to get a more wide stance.
The Beholder though is easily the best and yet most flawed figure of the three. His size, the smirk, the tendrils and the goldfish are all great, and I love the moving eye gimmick. But I wish his eyelid could open and close and that the control lever for the eye was on the back of the figure and not in his mouth. They could have easily squeezed in a simple two piece eyelid with how big the damn figure is, and having the control peg for the eye on the back of the figure would've made it far easier to manipulate.
>>10791724>One of the most bungled, shittiest toylines I can think of in recent memory. I can't really disagree with this. Being a technically "In House" brand, Hasbro really should've hit the ground running with this line. Instead the animated figures were probably some of Hasbro's worst figures in years, their monster line had some great figures but was criminally limited and the movie figures were...based off the movie.
G.I. Joe Classified took off and became a block buster best selling toyline based on nothing more then the fact that the figures were freaking fantastic. If they put even half the effort/budget the Joe guys had into the D&D stuff, it would've been another killer series. Instead it got halfassed and killed off right out the gate.
>>10791878Did the second wave ever come out? I wasn't very happy with the first wave of figures, but I doubt I'd be able to resist a cute ginger rogue.
