>>10813392>they aren't even HYPOTHETICAL TOYs as you describedThey are toys that do not exist, they only exist hypothetically, they are Hypothetical Toys.
Jizai, KT and Iceberg CADing and prototyping on their own time
Those are toys, there may be only 1 in the world, they may not be for sale, but they are real. The post very clearly was asking what figure you want to get made, as in a toy that does not currently exist, if it existed as a prototype you wouldn't be responding to the post.
>but yet you diss it because they had to modify it such that it ACTUALLY WORKSOf course, it is the job of an artist and toy designer to determine which concepts would work in three dimensions, if a design does not look good when the compromises of reality are put into place, it should not be sold and a different concept chosen instead.
>you think he earned more from the niche grey-IP Waspinator delayed infinitely?Unlike Iceberg who draws and designs, Spino is just an artist and is paid for his art to be used by the action figure company long before it is commercialized, how long it takes to produce and whether or not it sells well does not affect him. The fact that Nebula was of poor quality and Lightspeed is no longer commercially viable because of it is entirely Scifigures problem, Spino's job was done and paid for before they even started modeling.
>You better hope his RL rent is as free as his rent in your head, buddyNot only has Spino just been hired to design a third line of Toys with Transformers the Mimic, he has made over 133 public commissions in the last 6 months alone. Assuming that these are the cheapest colored option + background (most are not) he made about 33,250$ from July to December. This is not counting the fact that he charges extra for multiple characters and does not publish sketches and lower tier options.
