All I know is that both characters have only gotten quite the shit figures thus far, which is kinda mind boggling with such highly popular IPs.

We literally just had a Lara Croft thread that archived a few days ago, so another one already is more than a little suspect. As for pre-GOW4 Kratos, your only options are the Play Arts Kai which is ruined by literal black face or one of the earlier NECA figures, the Ultimate version being the best. Good luck getting an official one for under $100, but I hear the bootleg's actually pretty good.

I have this Kratos figure. It was really nice. I think I paid 20 bucks for it at Toys R Us all those years ago.

Maybe you could just try being helpful instead? I’m curious what the best Lara is too, especially when of them are now super expensive and if I’m gonna drop that much I wanna get the best one at least.

Like I said last thread, the only Laras with a full set of articulation are SOTA Angelina Jolie Lara and Play Arts Kai Reboot Lara
All figures of classic Lara from PS1 to Legend/Anniversary/Underworld are essentially statues with very limited movement
You'd be better off grabbing a blank body, ripping off the head of a classic Lara statue, slapping them together and then try to find 3rd party clothes that would fit and look close enough

The only thing the Ultimate is good at is being better than the first regular figures. The friction in his thighs wore off at some point and he couldnt hold both Cesti tightly. Then we get the vinyl skirt and loose ankle rockers

Uh, okay? Are you accusing me of being Necanon for considering it the best of only two workable options? Picrelated is the alternative. For the record mine is still fine, but then I found the gauntlets too heavy to begin with and stuck with the blades so that probably helped the joints long-term.
