>>10822292It's more about how Bandai has become super greedy and lazy. Early Monsterarts figures came with tons of accessories and were reasonably priced, but as the line gained fame they started to crank up the prices, stopped giving accessories and QC took a nosedive.
On this Godzilla's case the mold is inaccurate since it was made with early renders from KotM, they never updated the mold and reused it for GvK and now for GxK as well.
Meanwhile Hiya launches their own MV Godzilla that has a more accurate model but comes with flaws, so Hiya launches a new version with a different neck and no jaw pin showing that they listen to customers, then they launch an atomic breath version (that bandai never launched for GvK) that puts SH to shame in the paint department, all of this while keeping a way lower price.
Bandai's answer? The same exact mold night colors version and now, this. They could grab themselves to the excuse of being given the wrong render back in KotM, but 2 movies later reusing the same mold is just corporate greed at its finest.
It's basically the same as "we don't give a fuck nor we care about our clients, just give us your money and take this half assed figure that we spent 5 minutes or less of work on it"
