>>10824863New Order, the Earth One series, the digital first collections like Adventures of Superman, and many more - all those came out during the Nu52 era. But just like Multiversity has nothing to do with the mainline DC canon of the Nu52 books, neither did those. I don't want a Jacob Grayson figure or a Smallville Season 11 Bart or Connor, but you are right about one thing, I wouldn't mind seeing some other Nu52 figures besides the DC Collectible waves we got before AT&T totally gutted the DC Direct staff post merger and then allowed MTS to swallow it.
But that's part of the point and the Page Puncher Bermejo Superman, which uses the sculpt and the design that Todd has the right to use (under his contract with Warner Consumer Products), without paying for the designs, etc.
That's why I bought one on the second hand market, since like the sculpt that much, but still bought one of the MTS ones on sale for the additional articulation Todd does provide. However, if the figure wasn't wearing the trunks, the diaper would suck and the body buck really mars the design of the torso.

You might as well ask why someone buys a fucking $4000 head bust of Henry Cavill as Superman, which tells you what some Snyder Cult minion is doing with their bitcoin profits.
