>>10835882Yeah, it's his money he's funding these ventures with, and he's free to do whatever he wants, but as you've said, the business decisions he's shown are just so stupid.
>>10836012>i dont think his english is the best. It is quite common for asians to misuse, misspell or dumb errors english or other languages. That's not the point though. When you're making a product to sell internationally, pay for a fucking proof reader. It looks unprofessional, sloppy, and rushed with typos and errors on things. Again, just another stupid business decision that doesn't give me much faith in the guy.
>And he can use Mighty Max as a name but has to be carefull to link it to the character design of Mighty Max.But he still is, even after the changes. One set is still called 'Mighty Max Hat' and has a same red hat with yellow M on it like the official Max design. Plus on the listing descriptions and in the pics, he's still saying these 'Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Mighty Max cartoon series', which specifically ties this stuff to the clearly protected Mattel things and cartoon from back in the day. So he can't even play dumb and say he wasn't intending to tie his stuff to the official stuff because he clearly is.
>i would make Halloween sets rather christmasAbsolutely. Halloween themed things, with monsters or other typical halloween related objects fits so much better with the overall MM theme. These Xmas sets are just not going to have nearly the same appeal. Also, Xmas toys sell best right before Xmas. Who's chomping to buy Xmas stuff in the middle of the year? He shot himself in the foot here too. With these being delayed until sometime in Q1 2024 according to BBTS' current pages, he's going to have an even harder time selling these sets to casuals. Just stupid decisions and planning for every aspect of these things.
