>>10831618I often believe I started collecting at the luckiest time. it was 2004, got my first check at a REAL job. My first actual job was found in a newspaper, where they dont tell you it's selling newspaper subscriptions door-to-door. I hated that job so much because it was based on commissions for bothering people at home. I never put it on my resume. Anyways, I was open to the age of Toybiz Marvel Legends, TMNT 2003, the tail end of He-man 2002 and Digimon Frontier, and whatever anime merch Suncoast and Tower Records was selling. I would eventually live to see the release of Xevoz, TF Cybertron, Toynami Inuyasha and Squenix's first Play Arts line. I didn't like toys as a kid because it was all about vidya, and toys back then were all just 5poa shit falsely advertised on the box, which means if anything was long on aftermarket then I just didnt care. Meanwhile, the US was already making better toys what with Toybiz changing the landscape, with the imported Japanese toys just catching up. Anyway, it was within those 20 years id discover fun, remorse and wastes of money, and ive been able to experience all the good new stuff that'll still get replaced.
