The guilt of not being able to fix it made me keep looking for a solution even after and, later, I found this:

Beacuse it wasn't broken, the rope that makes the bucket move had fallen off and no one had managed to put it back in place before handing it to me, I though it had some missing piece I wasn't sure how to replicate, and it got sent into the trash
I still look from time to time for a replacement for it but the company closed off years algo, and no one really makes that kind of stuff anymore so I can't get something similar
I know it's not that important but I keep feeling it was SO obvious I should've seen it, I should've saved it
