>>10880680>In other-words, thank you Microsoft for sparing the toy community from any more abominations. These were seriously some of the worst looking 6" figures out of any company in recent memory. They're only that bad looking because they rushed it out. Ugly shit can be fixed before it's actually released, but they didnt bother to invest the extra money to make a quick change.
Go look at their Fortnite figures to see how good they Jazwares can be.
So yes, thank you Microsoft. /s
>>10880557What the other guy said, but they are given back whatever money they paid up (most of it anyway) and licenses can be renegotiated with the new owner.
It happened with Hasbro, with both STar Wars and Marvel properties, and it was important enough that renegotiation happened well before the license was taken back.
Nether Call of Duty and Bethesdas licenses were important enough for that to happen, and both McFarlane and Jazwares are breathing a sigh of relief given how MS usually handles properties after they get bought out.
Personally, I'm sad that we aren't getting tacticool urban combat soldiers with neon camoflaged guns, but i can't blame to wait and see what's going on with those properties in the future.
