What action figure or model kit has the most articulation/widest range of movement?
The Megalomaria Principal just came out and I think it's definitely a contender

The 1000Toys Synths have always been a pretty good contender. Aside from something like a Sticky Bones the most range of articulation would probably be an AY figure. Their torsos are definitely one of the places where they get a lot more range than most other figures.

I will forever lament they got rid of the ratchets, I will miss the clicking sounds in the knees and shoulders.

Also the current kees are dogshit, and I don't like how the shoulders look when posing, but I guess they give an amazing range of articulation.

AY Black Panther is pretty insane. I think the most limiting factors are butterfly, torso and upper leg range.
With the butterfly joint Yamaguchi's got it pretty much figured out. No one else really makes figures that are able to choke their own necks.
Torso is also pretty good, but unfortunately sometimes back bending movement is somewhat limited. Upper legs are also hit and miss. I think he used to be better in the past in this regard, but nowadays they mostly only go up to 90 without twisting. Can be somewhat mitigated with a deep crunch for the legs to be able to touch the chest, but it's not as good as it could be - or used to be.

If you ignore human-type characters the RD Evas and similar figures have an insane range of motion, mostly due to sculpt.

I mean, kudos to the guys who like her and all - she's got nice articulation and all, but that face will never not creep me the fuck out. This is why, when fembots become an inevitable reality, I would never commission one with a human-looking face - it's too uncanny.

Making a realistic human-looking face is a lot easier than most people think, and the hardest part is really just making the face move in a realistic way. With something like Sonny from I, Robot it's a mix of bad CGI and bad design choices that make it look uncanny, but with that figure it just seems like the realistic eyes in the unrealistic head.
