>>10906549Scratch offs are probably one of the WORST methods of gambling to try and really win anything. I've seen videos of people who buy entire rolls, which, depending on the denomination (like if they're $20 or $50 individual tickets or something) might cost upwards of about $1000-$1500 a roll, and chances are good you're only really going to get about half of that back.
You're better off, if you're going to do something so stupid, just taking the whole thing to the casino and play poker/blackjack or roulette or something. At least card games are partially based on skill and not entirely on luck/RNG.
>>10906617>>10906624He's probably talking about the people who hit like, hundreds of millions or even a couple billion on lotteries like the Powerball. Often times those people end up broke and bankrupt within just a few years of winning. Sometimes they end up dead, because their family will want a share, and they'll be killed by people who want a cut.
If you end up winning that type of money, you should do two things;
1.) Hire a financial adviser before the money is even in your hands, and
2.) Tell literally no one, not even anyone in your family, and it may be best to legitimately disappear and leave your old life, friends, and family behind.
