>>10920306So I was always a fan of G.I. Joe figures, especially the modern era 1:18 stuff. But they were literally the only figures I bought in that scale for a long time. Once the Joe line ended, I kind of ignored the scale for years, until the Planet Green Valley girls showed up.
I only bought a handful of em, but they ended up completely altering the way I collect 1:18 and getting just three of them opened me up to buying figures from all the different 1:18 lines out there. My 1:18 headcanon went from being a simple Joes v Cobra set up to being a larger world filled with various factions, nations and armies all in conflict with each other, and in the center of it all were three girls in a sci-fi tank.
I haven't actually jumped into the Joytoy 1:18 stuff yet. The only figure I got from that line was a single Death Korps of Krieg soldier and I honestly wasn't too happy with it. Firstly cause I thought I bought a squad and not just a single figure (which was entirely on me misunderstanding the website) but also because his articulation was fairly limited and he has difficulty holding his rifle. I do plan on getting some of the Astra Militarum Ordnance guys though, but mostly cause I want the cannon and the walker mech. That stuff would fit in way better for the universe I'm building over the Space Marines and other more Sci-Fantasy figures.
