>>10964196Bandai messed up big time with Wave 2 by including two girls in the same wave (Kimberly, Ashley). They did the same in Wave 3 (Trini, Cassie).
Not only that but some of their restocks included 2 Kimberly's & 2 Trini's. I dont remember if the cases were 8 or 6. One of them were 2 Trini's and the rest White Tommy's.
If Ashley & Cassie were still being found long after their release being 1 per case. Kimberly and Trini remained on the pegs for a much longer time. That's when Bandai wanted people to buy the remaining stock (female) so stores would order thew new waves.
After that the females became Gamestop exclusive.
Hasbro didnt do that until the end in the main line with Tanya and Cassie. Then again with Zoey and Izzy. Right now you can still find Tanya and Cassie in stores. Also happened with the Target exclusives of Ninja Pink & Ninja Yellow in the same wave. Those two remained on the pegs for a while.
Price isn't the issue. People just want quality Power Rangers figures. Again something we've never had until the revamped Legacy Collection. People were paying 2X-3X the price of Lightning/Legacy for Super 7. It was downhill once they saw the quality from Wave 1.
Without a show focus on the Legacy of the line and make collector figures. Kids arent buying Power Rangers toys at $10 let alone $20.
