Sure, there may be value in toy product announcements for collectibles, but SHOCKING NEWS, you can avoid the cesspool of click bait sites, reflexive or imbecilic unquestioning fan site reposts of toy company PR crap, and the general waste of time that is current day social media AND still keep up with your hobbies!
Instead, you could spend your days and nights playing, posing, admiring those unopened boxes and mint on card packages, lusting after in poverty or however you like to engage with your hobbies/collectibles
