>>10972823>If you want to debate on fair termsLOL
If you bought any toyline from China, instead of the company's MSRP, of course you'll get it cheap. Figmas, Figuarts, McFarlanes, you name it, for half off or more. Fair right?
If you wanted actual fair terms (instead of waiting for special sales with coupons, clearance prices, etc) judge it on their MSRP, which Joytoy's stuff is overpriced even if they were 1/12 figures. At 1:18? Supremely overpriced.
>which is not a feel I like in my toys.So what? You can like them to feel like ravioli for all that that matters.
Point is that it's a durable plastic that's hard to break. QUALITY.
Go watch any video of people abusing Hiya's Alien Queen trying to get pieces onto the figure. Tiny little pieces that are being pushed in with the strength of adult males, because they're too dumb to heat the pieces up to make it easier, yet they don't break.
That Cain has poseable fingers that are smaller than most wrist joints in 1:18, yet nothing breaks.
Joytoy has a long history of shitty plastics though, which I've experienced first hand. They used to include extra joints, to minimize that issue, but not anymore. And these Warhammer threads have made me steer clear of their normal sized figures, because Joytoy still seems to continue using shitty plastics. The larger figures seem immune, probably thanks to just being too thick to break easily, though they also still seem to break too.
