What are your favourite kinds of articulation schemes for action figures? Personally, I've always been very fond of Figma-style jointing setups (not just Figma themselves). I personally really like the joints affording almost full range on a single hinge; the protruding disc or ball is unfortunate but the actual bend usually looks far, far more natural than a double joint whilst affording much better range than a traditional single cut joint. Also the semi-modular nature with 3mm pegs and standardized balljoint sizes is really convenient, for swapping parts out and also for customizing (and also makes repairs much easier in the event of a breakage). I know Figma themselves have been going a bit downhill lately but I really think the actual style of engineering is a bit of an unsung hero; a lot of older Figmas still hold up really well, and quite a few lines use similar 3mm-pegged modular joints (Revoltech, Daibadi etc) to great effect.
