They also have a new CEO, the woman who’s been running D&D and Magic into the ground for the last few years at Hasbro. Her marketing strategy is almost certainly going to be doubling down on licensed IP crossovers, FOMO and artificial scarcity. It’ll die like Beanie Babies did back in the day when she gets greedy and starts doing re-runs of supposedly super-limited releases just like she did with Magic.
