Why do a lot of toy companies no longer know how to sculpt joints properly anymore, so they look decent when actually used rather than only in neutral?

I don't see what the problem is here. All I care about is "how posable is it" rather than how good they look. Joints exist to serve a function. Now if you want to discuss sculpt, I hate how American toy companies can't figure ass sculpts. Always using a thicc back piece instead incorporating the cheeks behind the thighs instead
