You can give a Pop of a sports player to a middle-aged man or a Pop of some anime character to a teen girl and it will appeal to both of them equally. The "dead soulless eyes" that everyone here hates is really the key to having a product that is so neutral that it has a really wide audience.
These Popmart things you posted here lean much more to the younger and girlier side. If you gave these to some 40-year-old dude he would be like wtf. It has a limited appeal.
