>>11028883>Nta but what exactly does this prove? That you're a retard. Thousands of people came out for a Ghostbusters celebration from all over the world, many dressed in full costume. People of all ages were there, and the kids weren't just there because their parents dragged them, you could see the genuine love and enthusiasm as they waited in line to sit in the gunner seat, or posed with Slimer. I saw one kid crying about not being able to go into the firehouse (the line was massive, as seen in that video). For anyone to say Ghostbusters is a dead brand is a ridiculous statement. It is one of the most universally loved films ever made, and will always have a massive following.
Now that doesn't necessarily translate to action figure sales, but it doesn't help when the action figure line is dogshit and doesn't have any fucking ghosts. We'll see how the Ecto-1 Haslab pans out, that will be the true test of whether an action figure line has any viability. If not, I'm sure Hasbro will just stick to the props which are making a killing. I just wish they would stop with the Haslab bullshit. The Proton Pack was very big and heavy, making it not viable for retail, but there is no reason something like a PKE Meter or Trap needed to be a Haslab. Those could have easily been retail releases like the Neutrona Wands.
