I would be so butthurt if i got those home.
There was just one M-tron guy and I got him, also astronaut-mommy and felt so happy!
These scannable boxes is the best cmf-idea ever.

By the way this is by far the most buffed up meaty CMF.
For example this minifigure feels rather like a Polybag than a minifig. It has shit ton of printed pieces, lots of spare parts and a cool build. They never did anything like that.

Is this because space was sponsored by Nasa? I sure hope lego will continue adding shit ton of stuff into their cmf

I didn't buy any castle-themed klocki for so many years.
The problem is that 99.9% castle stuff is adult garbage. No playable normal sets.

I want to buy picrelated but those yellow parts are so damn ugly.
I was planning to prepare a castle-themed playset for an upcoming DnD minifigures.

The thing that i LOVED about this is those minifigure accessories and the gem - the monkey i saw only in a huge pirate ship set that parents didn't buy me.

I always liked when minifigures had cool accessories and this set was like a huge accessory pack. It had a pirate hat and space helmet - all kinds of stuff

The Creator Castle is dope for both MOCing in general and for creating your own castle. If you hate he yellow, just swap it with another color. It's mostly 1x2, 1x4 and a few 1x1 and tiles. All parts that should be easy enough to swap.

I held off for ages because time and money and keep wanting other sets. But I saw it fall to $80 so I grabbed one to try out all the awesome MOCs I've seen made from just one set. I just counted and Rebrickable has 121 instructions available for alt builds using ONLY the one set, but plenty of other instructions for multiple sets worth or mixed with other sets. And I'd say about half of those are free to download, certainly a lot of them and many are good. One I'm most excited to try is attached picture. The instructions or it are free.

I'm also super excited to just build the castle and try MOCing it up to look way cooler. So yeah I say it's worth it now at the price of $80 which I found at Target last week. Might grab another before year end just for it being a great parts pack and versatile

I mean if you wanna go that route… it’s only super awesome… you’ll have lots left over and can easily make another level. Check out the rebrickable instructions for the beefed up version of the tower that uses more of the parts because the tower is about 2/3 of the set.

Got it quite recently and comparing to 3 in 1 pirate ship, the later in have vastly superior main model, but the castle is amazing if you want to start MOCing due to have easy it's to expande. Many great projects on rebrickable too.
In general too great sets, but in case of the ship I build the main model and don't want to do anything with it because it looks perfect (for me, personally I like brick build sails more than material ones). With castle I already rebuild it 3 times and more will follow.

Pumping my favorite Bricklink Series-5 sets because I think they are rad. Please check them out, only 2 days left to vote.

I favor smaller to medium builds for both budget and shelf space. No giant display pieces in this list... well, maybe one. Counting down my top 10 sets.

Number 10 - Black Dragon Tower -
At 1537 pieces its a well detailed and imposing tower that won't break our bank and leaves space on our shelves. Not much to say about it, it's my least favorite set I mention on my list. But I think it's incredibly well done and fits all my criteria for a winning set. And the classic Black Dragon Knights are in my opinion the most iconic of all the Lego faction, and in my imagination the most feared. The front looks great, but the inside is so well structured

Number 09 - The Pirate Life -
This set is really beautiful and looks like it functions well as a Pirate playset to counter the new Eldorado Fortress. But a bit large for my tastes at 2732 pieces and takes up too wide a shelf space. Lots of life in the set, but I wish it was a little less long at 20 inches in length. Still, absolutely impressive looking and I'm rooting for Pirate themed to make a comeback. And this is the most impressive looking Pirate base I've seen.

Number 08 - Serpent Island -
At 1256 pieces, I think Serpent Island is a really cool smaller set. We get a really awesome compact Viking Ship with folding sail and neat side build of a water Serpent and small island. It pairs well in Castle or Viking themed stuff and even could work with Pirates. This set is incredibly soulful and ready to inspire imaginations to play.

Number 07 - The Privateer Frigate Fortuna - This is the most impressive ship build I've ever seen. But at 4000 parts and almost 32 inches in length, it breaks both my budget and shelf. I love that it's fully playable though, if you happen to have a swimming pool sized space to play in. I literally have no room for it, but it's absolutely stunning and I'm amazed at how playable and sturdy this well detailed model is.

Number 06 - Medieval Beekeeper -
The largest Castle themed set within size and budget, I loved is the Medieval Beekeeper at 2080 pieces. It's a refreshing change of pace from fortresses and hideouts while offering story inspiring details while filling out the Castle world with unique civilians. It's slightly larger scale than I would like to fit with ALL Castle themed sets, but looks to be perfectly in scale with the new Medieval Village which is serviceable. It's a really beautiful set worth checking out. So full of charm.

Number 05 - Alchemist Caravan -
The first of the two wagons on my list is the Alchemist Caravan at 853 pieces. I like the classy side builds and the second pitch for the laboratory looks amazing, though it makes it feel a but too large for what it is, which is why I placed it lower than the other wagon.

Number 04 - The Wolf Den -
At a good mid range of 1604 pieces, the Wolf Den is a a cool Wolfpack encampment set up in some ruins. It folds open to completely change the look of the scene while retaining all details and being a functional playset that looks equally impressive at play. I have another Wolfpack set at Number 2, but I would be equally happy with this one. It's quite impressive and looks to be loads of fun. I like that the camp filled ruins are full of life, implying the Wolfpack are scattered about the Kingdom.

Number 03 - Wizard Wagon -
At 695 pieces, the Wizard Wagon is a very cool magical cart reminding me of the original Wizard's Cart set from so long ago. It's cute and quaint with great details and really screams magic. I love the included fireworks and side build of scenery for your displays and children and wildlife add to the story telling. This set is so charming and I'm absolutely in love with it. It's small piece count will ensure it it's affordable and it complements every Castle theme imaginable while exuding classic Lego charm

Number 02 - Castle Wolfstone -
At 1018 parts, this is an excellent small fort situated by the water with an ability to hinge open for play and accessibility. I think it's equally as cool as that Wolf Den, but almost 600 parts less and it manages to tap into that classic Lego Castle aesthetic and feel but keep modern sensibilities. I love both and think they together would make formidable defenses for the Wolfpack throughout the kingdom, but this would be my choice if I could only have one. Wolfstone offers everything one could want from the pack except a glow in the dark ghost or gray bird. It's a fort build into the water and had a great secret dock and raft, its a perfect reimagining of the original Wolfpack keep. I love the jail and included watchdog, but the moving gate and trap door add to the fun. It looks great as a display piece, but folds open for easier play. By far my favorite Castle set in Series-5. Affordable, playable, space saving and full of details to inspire the imagination.

Number 01 -The Trading Post -
My favorite set from series 4 The Trading Post is back with improvements for series 5. The Trading Post is a great Pirate themed civilian base to interact with Pirates and Imperials. Its something we've been missing for forever and its my number one want in the program. It's an impressive display piece at a modest 1557 parts, but is also a wonderful playset that can even be split in half to reveal more details. I can not gush enough about this set. It's just so dang cool and a perfect compliment to any Pirate collection

Extremely bland taste. These fall so far on the side of MOCs rather than sets, I can just feel the unfinished build quality and jank. At least a few submissions look like they tried to work out issues and make the construction work as a physical model and not just in studio.

The trannyslvania castle, mushroom village, thieves of tortuga and coconuts cape are leagues better in polish.

I have and had figures that I always wanted, but ever since 2020ish when the investbros got involved, all of these figures skyrocketed in value. Yes, I did buy a Rebels Ahsoka, but no because I saw it as an investement, but because I genuinly WANTED the figure for YEARS. The reveal of the mechs did sting a little because I did end up buying a UCS Boba torso to upgrade my exixting fig, but if I just waited a little longer I could have gotten one for a fraction of the price. I’m sure that’s what the memes say however you’re time invested, inventory space and size necessary, and ability to actually liquidate and ship sets for a profit will make you dozens and dozens of dollars. I’m not saying it isn’t theoretically possible I’m saying the vast majority or people now won’t make money investing in Lego and neither will you. What more is there to say? The minifig faces (and in some cases even the torso prints) look gay and cartoonish, all the other animals (dogs, dinosaurs, etc) are soulless slop that doesn't even look like Lego, the sets cost triple what the same size set would have cost a decade ago, and many of the sets look bad too (though I do admit that some of the city sets in recent years still look pretty good). And then there's the low quality control and chink outsourcing. Take minifig parts from one year ago and take minifig parts from 30 years ago. The parts from one year ago are more likely to have cracks despite having 1/30 as long to develop said cracks. And the parts from one year ago have much shittier tolerances so the arms and legs aren't as snug as they should be (or in rarer cases are too tight). And the plastic even looks cheaper quality.

I think the quality decline started when CMFs first came out. Lego knew people would collect them regardless of quality just because they are collectable, so they outsourced the production to China and Mexico to do things cheaply, and after cheapning CMFs it carried on from there to cheapening everything. And dumb consoomers still buy it. If Hitler had won ww2 this wouldn't have happened.

I got the goat guys honestly and was so stoked when I got the first one. The others were happy accidents too. It’s two of the 3-1 sets and I beefed them up with the extra parts from the tower build. The tree and vine is undergoing maintenance right now I want a tiny mushroom hut under it for my goat guy and his mushroom wifu and need a better transition on the climbing vines. Gargoyle I swapped out of the Batman Polybag. Falcon chick is from the series 23? CMF? Rest of the setup is the 3-1 ship alt build but the skull on the castle and the spooky shark gwp on the island in place of it. Used the rest of the pirate ship parts to make a smaller but equally functional ship.

How to cope with negative feedback on bricklink?

I've had two different buyers leave me negative feedback due to shipments not arriving. They both opted for unregistered shipping.

I guess it's not much one can do? I have just over 50 positive feedbacks, maybe the few negatives ones doesn't matter?

Now what really pissed me of is that one of the buyers left a negative feedback and wrote something like "didn't receive items, seller not responding" and he hasn't messaged me on bricklink nor by e-mail.

I just meant that now being an established and main stream market means it's too late to try and hop on the band wagon. I keep comparing it to the comic book boom. When suddenly a bunch of old, classic comics were selling for big bucks everyone thought it was the next gold rush. It worked as a niche market but now that it's more mainstream the value has plummeted because everyone and their drunk uncle thinks they can buy a few sets and turn it around for a big payout in a year.

They do sell ones like that, along with others that follow more of a "theme". If anything I think they should do more specialized ones. Like one that gives you lots of parts useful for making vehicles or lots of stone bricks for castles. The main problem with the Classic sets is they give you a bunch of different colors but not enough of specific parts. So you could get a set with maybe one or two axle pieces for a car and only in one color.
