I think the only good historical action figures right now tend to come out of China. I’m pretty sure there are some good 1/6 offerings, but nothing smaller and quality.

Someone like NECA and some of the other companies that make movie or TV inspired figures might make something - I know I've seen Long Ranger and similar figures pop up when I've browsed loose toys lots on eBay. But it depends on how much articulation you want.

There are plenty of toy soldier type plastic native American toys for sale on line but those are small and probably not at all what you had in mind.

Finally, a good thread! Lego in the 90s had its Wild West line which included a wide variety of colorful characters such as Chief Big Rattlesnake, Tom O'Hawk, and Buffalo Medicine Man among others. You can still get the sets in after-market sales, although you will end up paying hundreds of dollars as these are some of the most valuable vintage sets Lego has to offer.

The plastic figurines were fun. I used to throw hordes of Airfix and Hong Kong Sioux against my Civil War soldiers and Lincoln Log forts. Those and the Wild West Lego sets were mainstays of my childhood, as were cap guns and bow-and-arrow sets.
