>>11103403I havent yet spotted the larger tiny mights sets in my local walmart. its partially why I was so pleasantly surprised by the sudden appearance of the blind-bagged single figure capsules at Five Below. Not since that initial final faction wave had I been so eager to buy up as many of these figurines as I could. At just a buck per pod it really is a steal of a deal. So far I've gotten Mermaid Man, Barnacle Boy, the Space Kook, Killer Croc, and Shaggy. Bit of a heads up, the capsules all have translucent clear tops. If you're not up for the surprise you can dig through the display box and pick out the character you're after. Im crossing my fingers in the hopes that my store restocks these guys. They went in the blink of an eye.
Kudos for tipping your hat to Moose Toys, Jakks, and Playmates. They all have a place in my collection for the very reasons you outlined. Great fun at a low price is something that cant be beat. I especially appreciate Moose's decision to crank out new IPs when they can over more licensed stuff. Goojitzu always delivers. I do wish we could see a return of the grossery gang/trash pack figurines. For now the Mr Beast minis will have to scratch that itch I suppose. I know people complain alot of about playmates, and justly so, but at the same time Im just happy to see such affordable and well made toys go for so cheap. I really disliked mutant mayhem, but getting some of those figures for 5.99 a pop was a steal. Spinmasters had a good start with DC, one that rivaled playmates with tmnt, but it seems like they've kind of given up on it after last years consecutive box office bombs. really is a shame.
Ditto on the Hot Wheels matter. Id collect more if I could find the models I wanted more regularly. My collection is mostly batmobile variants now. I have a few character cars aswell.
