I think "dead" products are intentional. They can write off travesties like this. And even "official" things, seen in food and other items, ...it's 2024. Fruit cup packaging still has THIN cardboard strips so they tear and smash onto the floor. HEAVY tools still come on cards with microns-thin, shattery plastic bubbles. Soup cans still have labels falling off. Plastic kitchen supplies still have just a weak, tiny sticker for the UPC code needed to sell it. SO many items just don't make sense in their packaging. The idea that the action figure swapping fetish is large enough to even make a big business blink is ludicrous.
