I don't actually consider Gundam Universe figures to be a lot. Maybe compared to other Gundam options like Insane Grade Kits

I’m gonna be honest I got a robot spirits gouf custom today and a piece snapped off of the 3 barrel hand gun right out of the box. I miss the days of durable Gundam toys like MSIA and Gundam universe is the closest thing to it nothing is really brittle on them, they just don’t do enough Zeon mobile suits it’s mostly Gundams

Is this a model kit? I've been thinking about getting one I mainly want a more complicated one but I feel like it's not a smart decision to do that as my first one.

Modern gunpla kits (2015 onwards) are ridiculously easy. Even Japanese schoolchildren can build MGs. You'll be fine.

then there's pre-built MG Gundam toys called Gundam Arch Enemies which are 12 inches tall and just cost 20 dollars back then

Gundam toys back then were really cheap

I built my first HG kit recently and it was very easy and pretty fun. I bought clippers and sandpaper and I'd argue you don't need either. I did use my clippers though, next one I might try the sandpaper as there's a couple marks from the gates

is there a non shit way to do this pose where the gun isn't blurry? I tried it a few times too but never found the angle....or is it more a hardware/settings problem. Because it blurs and is barely visible and just looks shit

That's where I'm at. Line has problems but it's the legit closest thing to MSIA these days. Just wish they didn't have such a skimpy release schedule and that they did more series. 6 years and the only non-UC or CE suits are a few G. Not even the whole Shuffle Alliance. Just Domon and Master units. Them remaking the early line suits takes up too many slots and they still have so many to do.

Yea the release speed is this line’s worse aspect. A lot of places like target and hobby stores still only have like the first two FA volumes. I will admit that I am somewhat glad that they remade some of the older releases. I really like the FA freedom and i always wanted a trinket toy of it. Also idk if anyone else had this issue but some of the older style frames (pre Full Action rebranding) had some shoulder joints that were stressed and snapped out of the box. I had this issue with like the blitz and the titan mk2.

I'm not even made about the older units getting remade. It's just that them remaking them coupled with the slow release schedule, it feels like we're years away from other series. I've held off buying Unicorn, Banshee, Sinaju, F91 and ZZ because I know they'll get remade. On top of that, did we really need a whole wave earlier this year devoted to remakes? I just want them spread out. Like, a wave of 4 can have one remake instead of how many of them have at least 2.

You can really make these pop with the panel line pens you use on the kits. The plastic holds the paint INCREDIBLY well.

RG Freedom Gundam was my very first model kit. Only built it a month ago, and have become pretty hooked since.
Just get some decent nippers (I got some Tamiya ones), a scalpel, and you should be good.

Also build an RG Sinanju and finished Crossbone tonight.
Itching to buy a master grade, but I wanna build this bootleg Evangelion one I ordered off AliExpress first.
