Anything factual or just speculation? Probably best to keep it to the original style of small figures in robot exo suits. Give them Mega minifigure articulation maybe with some ankles and those would be fun toys. Or even just the original 4-5poa, but more certainly doesn't hurt.

I would be afraid to see how much worse these toys would need to be than the originals to sell at retail unfortunately. The original toyline was something I don't think can be done at the $20-30 pricepoint anymore without cutting a lot of corners. Its too bad they probably don't have the original molds either as just rereleasing those would probably sell pretty well with how expensive these are on the secondhand market now.

I went looking for pics of boxes with original price tags intact to run through the inflation calculator, and it was pretty ugly. I think one had a $35 price tag (with OG KayBee mark-up), and it adjusted to over $90 of what passes for current dollars. I imagine 1-to-1 recreations would be even more.

I can't see the toys being worse than they were in the 90s.

EVERYTHING has improved since the 90s. We get at least twice as many features for the same price equivalent.

But yeah, ExoSquad was always a pricy toyline, so i don't think they'd do bigger mecha anymore. If they only do the Jumptroopers and the small Exo-suits, i'd be happy as fuck. Just make everything in 2.5" scale, like we see MegaBloks doing, but extra pieces to snap onto look like exo-armor and exo-frames.

Maybe to the show, but what about the toys? Nacelle went on their buying spree a few years back, Exo Squad seems like one that would fit in with most of the properties they already purchased like Biker Mice, Roboforce, Power Lords, in that futuristic setting. Moo Mesa is kind of the odd one out. Garloo is just odd.

Such a great show but I don't trust a reboot too much, the original already did so many things so well.
I always found the eframes a bit boring, I'd hope they're a bit more interesting.
I hope the show would be CG, I hate that 2D HD clean look that's all done digitally, and CG works fine for space battles.
I can be ok with redesigning a lot of the characters, most of them had the most generic designs I'd ever seen.
