>>11116491do you think they could be from the 80s? wow. maybe they were older than i thought. i didnt know they had quarter machine toys in the 80s.
I loved those little robots. I always was a big fan of robot stuff for some reason. around the same year my dad and i built a lego set together, its the only one i remember the number (6949). Pizza place was just a block or two from our house and we would walk there.
Yeah...my dad was on the couch the night before he passed watching tv. he and i had finished watching a movie. It was around 2 or 3 am and we were talking about old times and good memories. I told him he should try to find some good movies to watch with me since id have to leave in a few weeks for work ( i leave for a few months during my job) and i get sad because i remember him seeming a little shocked and sad i was already having to leave. makes me want to cry. he was in seemingly perfect health.
the next day he had a stroke at his work computer in our house. we were all asleep and none of us knew. im beating myself up every day. if it had cancer or something i could have accepted it a lot better. happened 3 months ago.
sorry to ramble. for years i have tried finding what those little robots were because i had good memories of them, and playing area 51 at the arcade with him. I hope i can see him again somehow after life ends. miss him every day. was my best friend.
the other vending machine toys i was a big fan of were those little ninjas you could find everywhere. man those were the days..
