Does anyone know what these weird stains are on my Silver Surfer board and how to get rid of them? They weren’t there when I first bought the figure and I can’t seem to get them off.

Looks like its some of the paint that's come off or beginning to degrade in those spots. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do. Was it stored resting against another figure or some accessories? Sometimes different plastics touching eachother for years at a time can do funky stuff like that.

I don't think there's any paint on it. It's pure plastic. It was on display on a shelf. I hadn't dusted it for a while before I noticed.

Have you tried using a magic eraser? Whenever I deal with paint marks and scratches I use that to rub off.

It's so obviously painted plastic. Pure metallic colored plastic looks nothing like that. IT has that crappy swirly plastic look that everyone hates.

trust us... It's 100% painted plastic. If you want to test it, dab it with some acetone nail polish remover. Paint will come off, and if pure plastic then nothing will happen
