That's usually acetone and may melt some plastics. Rubbing alcohol is much less harsh but also means you need to do a lot of rubbing

I had pump bottles of the stuff being given out a few years back during lockdown, which is mostly, but not fully pure alcohol, that I used with a clean, white cloth to rub whenever I ended up with a lot of used figures and one had crayon or even sharpie on it. You do need to rub a lot but take it slow or you might rub off the surface paint.

Also, you can use acetone but I agree that it will Eff Up either the base/surface paint or the plastic underneath.

I would still TRY soapy water first. Good luck!

That looks seeped into the plastic. Probably unlikely to come out. WWE figures have a similar issue with staining from cloth gear in packaging and not matter what I've tried, it's there forever.

this works by penetrating the plastic and bleaching it from the inside, you probably will need multiple attempts to get it completely faded

I feel like stuff like this happen randomly. Some figures I have just piled together and nothing of this sorts happen even after years. For other figures, it just happens on its own. I have a figma with this exact issue but rather than another figure causing it, the paint from the skirt slowly seeped into the flesh colored abdomen and thighs. I tried rubber eraser, magic eraser, alcohol, and even some paint thinner. I think because it’s actually seeped into the plastic, you can’t remove it so it might unironically be ogre. Unless of course you paint it like >>11134313 said.

If it's only only on the surface, use 90% iso alcohol. It's like a dollar a bottle at walmart or walgreens. If it's some sort of dye that's seeped into the plastic then youll need to paint over it. Not even melting the top layer with acetone will work.
