>>11136233I've sold stuff on EB and paid for shipping myself, instead of using their label system a few times. Especially to use FED EX since I get better rates directly, and I only get a discount sending Ground Advantage.
But I have to manually send the buyer their tracking number, whether it's USPS or FedEx or whatever. You can and should ask the buyer for it - plus it would support a legitimate claim if you end up not receiving your stuff since a seller could be pulling a scam on you.
One asshole in Oklahoma tried to claim I hadn't shipped him his crap because I mistyped the tracking number. I just sent him a corrected tracking email after he submitted a claim, based on nondelivery, for a refund PLUS gave me negative feedback.
I then uploading a screenshot of my receipt, showing his fucking address and that it has been paid for, plus the tracking that it has been received, and EB removed his shitty fake negative feedback and paid me out on time, and denied his fake claim.
You submit enough fake claims and sellers will blackball you or the site will.
Yeah, you can create a new account with a new email, but you'll also need to use a new payment method AND also have to use drop boxes or someone else's address to receive shit.
IF you really need to go to all that hassle and effort to scam some idiot reseller, then you have all sorts of other things going on, friend.
