Chima was made before they had committed to doing full-animal heads like that; in fact, the China heads initially WERE intended to just be masks, hence why the characters all have actual faces printed on their minifig heads. It was the show that ditched the mask idea and made those the actual faces, and the games and Ultrabuild sets rolled with it. Remember that Chima was originally intended to be something entirely different when it was first conceived, whereas the dragon head you posted was intended to be an actual dragon head from the start.

Just a reminder, investor bros - Lego is releasing a dark blue spaceman torso. There is no classic spaceman helmet in that color, BUT there is in the motorcycle style helmet. Given what happened with dark purple (still over $5 per piece on bricklink) you can pick up the helmet for under a $1 rn outside north America.

The witch and the vampire are existing characters in the D&D lore (Strahd von Zarovich and Tasha the Witch Queen). The heroes are obviously more customizable.

I like these both. So disappointing that the live action didn't use the rebels version. I think that the young Ahsoka definitely has the best torso, give her a newer head and she's great. The clone wars heads are hideous.

I think it's a bit too abstract of a theme that tries to be everything rather than focus on a thematic brand. It's Ninja-esque but the theme has cars, mechs, jets, pirate ships, fantasy creatures, castles, modern cities, etc.

I also like when sets use more neutral colour palettes that make for easy modification and creation into other things. Nexoknights was particularly terrible for this.

I can see why kids are drawn to it and it's a good bit of creativity which Lego is about, but it's just something I never really got into. I really like sets like Destiny's Bounty, but I'd rather have a more dialed-back Barracuda Bay that better fits my vision of Lego from my childhood.

What this guy said, that's an ARC Trooper fig with dark red legs from 2012 when brown, dark brown, and dark red were extremely brittle. That's why it cracked. Although I have personally seen more structurally sound colored heels crack. Best to display minifigures on picrel if you care about that sort of thing.

I disliked Just2good way before her trans-days. She's one of those annoying "internet persona" "famous bloggers". That can't wait to share his opeeenion.

And now when she's a "beautiful female" and can't stop putting her (not handsome - that has nothing to do with her being trans - she's just not that attractive for youtube thumbnail) face on videos and making it more about herself and her opions.

There are way better lego review channels to watch. Like bricks by mind or others.
Also it doesn't help that his production value didn't improve at all.
His channel has the same level of "young teenager-like dude doing stuff in his mom's house".

The first wave had some solid Ninja vs Skeleton sets which I liked. There were structures with a feudal Japanese aesthetic like the dojo and a couple of the smaller sets. I remember thinking how dumb the fighter jet, motorcycle, etc were for a historical/fantasy setting so I just ignored them.

I got that space age thing a while ago since it was on steep clearance and ultimately tore it apart since it wasn't that interesting to build or look at, but while doing so I was reminded of these pieces in the back. I don't think they even did anything for the build other than be a bit of weight for the top half and when I looked it up online it's literally only being used in other "art" builds, presumably for the same purpose. DnD minifigures are on amazon and you can order more than 3 (previous cmf allowed only 3 per order).

I ordered 5 and will try to do a safe scummy technic.
