>>11146524Fantastic concept, awful execution. Most figures have crap articulation, if they have any at all and their scale is all over the place. And not just "one figure is slightly too tall!" but rather some are scaled to be 5" figures, some are meant to be 7" figures. But the character selection is almost random, huge characters like Baloo and Sully are 5" figures, while characters like Goofy and Ariel are 7". It's completely inconsistent with itself so a display of them wouldn't really look right. And seeing how limited a lot of them are in articulation, display is about all you'd be able to do with them.
I'm not a McFarlane hater by any means, I collect plenty of Spawn figures and many of his other lines, and I'm even backing that Medieval Spawn Kickstarter, which just gets better each day more "free" stuff is added. But this line should be in almost any other company's hands. Hasbro, Mattel, Jazzware or Jada could do figures with similar quality sculpts and paint jobs, but have far better articulation and internal consistency with character sizes.
I'm not even a big fan of Disney stuff in general, but if this line were done by almost any other company, I'd probably be collecting it hard. The Elseworlds mish-mash warworld-esque Disney characters is a concept just leads to lots of fun designs, but the way Todd handled this line is just wrong.
