>>11179682Let's be real, 6" has won the scale wars. Other than McFarlane, who no one likes, and Mattel, who makes bulky fantasy characters, no one is making figures in 7" scale anymore. NECA is doing it's own thing with horror, and Diamond Select barely makes new figures. It's over. It's done. People (generally) want their figures to stand shoulder to shoulder with each other. The Marvel vs. Capcomification of action figures is now complete.
I'm not saying 6" is the best scale or deserves to win. VHS looked worse than Betamax, and cassettes sounded worse than 8-tracks. But they won, and that's all that matters in the end. Other scales with continue to exist, especially in niche and retro toylines, but anyone looking to make popular action figures will make them in 6" scale going forward.
