The Go-Bots toyline ended around 1987 (and replaced with Rock Lords, with a lot of promoted shit like the Globotron base being unreleased despite being heavily featured in promotional catalogs with the last round of figures released).
By 1988-1991, the only places you could find Gobots were at Big Lots or Hecks, early versions of discount outlet stores that bought up overstock of unsold goods though unlike Ollies and TJ Max, they sold their overstock at full retail price. And even then, the only Gobots stuff you could find were multi-packs of lesser known Gobots which were released at the very end of the line, once stores stopped carrying the individual Gobot figures.
USA Network would air Gobots until around 88-89, though it would get a brief revival on Cartoon Network in it's early years due to CN basically airing every single Hannah Barbara show they had the rights to to fill time and was one of the shows that got axed from reruns the second they started leaning hard into anime and original programming around 1995.
