These figures are kind of a shame in my eyes. I really like the Crash 4 designs of the characters but these sculpts are so goddamn boring and lifeless. They all just have a dead stare, the paint apps don't look great, and they have this shiny plastic that reminds me of McDonald's toys.
I could care less about the articulation being basic, I don't really give a shit as long as the character has some movement. But they gave Crash this very plain smile instead of making him a goofball or giving him any sort of personality, and the same goes for the rest of the characters.
I actually bought the old Resaurus figures of Crash, Coco,and Cortex recently because while the sculpts are dated and the articulation isn't great, the paint is more impressive and the expressions are fantastic.
I fucking hate the Neca Crash and am not surprised to learn that they had to cancel Coco and Cortex after nobody purchased their 500 different shitty Crash variants.
