Is this the right board to ask about scale model aircraft?

I just want a cheap plastic replica (on wheels) but these aviation stores keep holding my wallet to ransom.

Preassembled or model kit? For kits, ask /smg/, but I would recommend looking at Minicraft kits from the 1990s and 2000s or even Zvezda, though their QC is all over the place (made in Russia for you). If you want mostly preassembled and prepainted, try Flight Miniatures. These do not have wheels, though. Also finding used Schabak and Schuco 1/600 models are also a good option, but if you want new, only use The Flying Mule, everywhere else is a ripoff. I have bought Dragon, Oxford and Corgi models from them in the past.
