>>11177933>Current Playmobil feels like what LEGO used to be between 2005-2016 before the CEO changed and licenced sets became the norm. Kinda. Playmobil has been getting a lot of licenses too: A-team, Star Trek, Spirit, Knight Rider, Naruto, Miraculous Lady Bug, and ETC. It hasn't been at the expense of their licenses like Lego--they just brought back Pirates--so I guess it's not that big of a deal yet.
>What I like most about LEGO is that every set fits together and you can build your own world, where every theme has it's place. I guess the same is true for Playmobile.I do this even with the playmobil stuff I don't own. I have intense autism.
> As far as I know, Playmobil doesn't sell road elements, mountains, tunnels and the like. So you're left coming up with it yourself using cardboard, foam and similar. I'm always amazed how awesome the scenery looks in the tv commercials.I watch stuff a lot of Playmobil YouTube videos; people use what little Playmobil gives you, nature, make their own like you said, or just forgo it entirely. I definitely fall into the just forgo it category.
