Holy shit I forgot about this toy, I loved this thing. I thought it was superior to all the Transformers of that size/price. Plus is was more mecha and I was way into Macross then.

I don't know if I'd call it big, it was like maybe 5" at best? Though compared to certain TFs I guess you could call it big. I don't remember the plastic quality being great either, mine was quickly dismembered/broken. I think I still have a few remaining pieces of it somewhere.

the line entertains me for all the obscure pulls they were forced to make since hasbro and tonka got to the best bots first. One can only imagine the legal nightmare that would precede a Convertors revival. If I had one complain of the line, they should have gone further to divorce their robots from their japanese counterparts. Thats the most important part of any transformable import robot line!

finding out about the origins of alot of these molds became apart of the fun for me. i had no clue pic related was a space adventure cobra tie in for example. I almost wish covertors had scooped up more obscure molds just to end up with an even crazier line up. Sasuraiger's inclusion is probably the craziest in the line up because he had a whole show of his own.

Not a Convertor, but I had a version of this in purple and black. I think this was a KO of the Takatoku Beetras toy that went on to becme Barrage, and mine was a KO of that (so a DOUBLE KO). Cool design, shame he fell apart if you looked at him funny.
